  While operating under its founder/original owner, E. G. Cummings funeral home was a very professional, caring funeral home. Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated. E. G. Cummings funeral home now employs some unprofessional staff members. Even though the founder's son tries his best to operate the funeral home as his father, it still doesn't negate the rude, unprofessional employees here. My family has used E. G. Cummings funeral home for decades; however, I have updated my will to instruct the executor of my estate/family to choose another funeral home if I pass away.

  My recent experience with Cummings was nothing less than the best. The level of customer service my family received goes unmatched. Each representative we interacted with was transparent and gave us their undivided attention. They were very understanding and accommodating. Not to mention, the quality of skill; we were extremely impressed with their workmanship. I thank the E.G. Cummings Staff for taking care of my family during our time of bereavement, as they went the extra TWO miles (not the extra mile) – Cummings definitely under promised and OVER delivered!
  Needless to say, I highly recommend E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home.

  I normally do not post reviews on business but my heart lead me to follow up on the services I received recently from E G Cummings Funeral Home.
  When you are going through the stress and mental anguish of a family member passing you need the comfort of a business that has and sympathetic understanding.
  I received this and so much more from Cummings Funeral Home. I want to truly Thank Mr. Tommie Cummings for being so understanding and caring.
